After a 25 day contest and over 15,000 entries, we drew the five finalists that won the opportunity to play the “Keys To Mom’s Heart” game that took place on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at our Casa Olé restaurant in Humble, Texas.
The five very lucky finalists that were drawn to play the game were: Shelly Cardona of Pasadena; Brandi Johnson of Houston; Tracie Clay of Silsbee; Russell Kohring of Brenham and Patricia Johnson of Stafford.
The great thing about this game was that every person went home a winner! Each contestant had the opportunity to win either a: David Taylor Buick Enclave, $1,000, $500 or a Casa Olé Prize Package that was worth $200.
Both Shelly Cardona and Tracie Clay each won the $500 cash prize and the other contestants each won the Casa Olé Prize Package. We invited all of the contestants and their families to have lunch on us as part of the celebration. In addition, we also gave each of our contestants a card that entitles them to “One Free Entrée Every Week for 52 Weeks” and this is valued at $400 (which brings the Casa Olé prize package to a value of $600).
Shelly Cardona stated, “I was just excited to be there. I had never won anything before. It was nice to know that they (Casa Olé) give back to their patrons. I wish I could have won the car, but winning the $500 was great! It was an exciting event and it was awesome just to be there!”
"Thanks so much Casa Ole for an awesome day. My family and I had a fantastic time. The food was great. The prizes were outstanding,” said Russell Kohring.
Overall, everyone had a great time and each contestant had fun playing the “Keys To Mom’s Heart” game!
